Building of the new Mercedes dealer Sydney site started in July, 2009. To respond to the growth of the Mercedes-Benz brand, the brand values of the Mercedes-Benz marque and the strong expectations of Mercedes-Benz owners and drivers in Sydney, the new dealership premises have been designed with enhanced customer service and convenience as crucial elements.

The new Mercedes Dealer Sydney facility:

• Has been built in the Mercedes-Benz ‘Autohaus’ theme.
  
• Encompasses the new, purpose-built Mercedes showroom to host the ultimate automotive acquisition experience in Sydney.
  
• Respresents an AUD $45 million investment by Mercedes-Benz Australia.

• Commands an 18,000 square-metre site.

• Includes thirty service work bays for greater service capacities.

Undertaking such a significant project and investment further symbolises the progressive presence of Mercedes-Benz in Sydney. In the past 24 months, Mercedes-Benz and the Mercedes dealer network in NSW have invested more than AUD $58 million in retail dealership facilities development.

The then President/CEO of Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific, Mr Wolfgang Schrempp, was justifiably pleased about the new project, when speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony at the new site in July, 2009.

During brief formalities at the commencent of construction at the new Mercedes-Benz Sydney dealer site, Schrempp commented: "This is a major investment for our customers, our brand and the NSW economy. Even in these challenging economic times, we see it as a priority to provide only the best for our customers.”

Schrempp went on to explain that the new facilities are an extension of Mercedes-Benz's credo to build the best cars in the world and apply that philophosy and spirit to the Mercedes-Benz customer experience.

At what will surely become a new Sydney landmark, the new dealership for Mercedes-Benz Sydney is located at 43-47 O’Riordan Street Alexandria.

Mercedes-Benz Sydney Senior Sales Executive & AMG Specialist Nicol Matheson commented that “Improved position, convenience, capacity, facilities, display ability, systems and stock volume are some of the many advantages that the new Sydney Mercedes-Benz dealership is offering to our clients.”
