Recently I bought a new C200 Kompressor
Avantgarde, Special Edition, from your showroom. I like
to send you a note to say thank you for your staff Nicol
Matheson’s services to me. He has been very helpful to me
in many
ways.
He thoroughly explained the functions
and features of the new car to me. When you Finance was
slow to refund my original deposit after two weeks of
signing the lease agreement, he rectified it
quickly.
During his sick days, he personally
went to Botany RTA to re-submit paperwork after I raised
concern that after almost three weeks, I have yet to
receive the RTA’s registration papers to replace my
interim label. He personally delivered my spare key as
the original spare key was faulty. Various phone calls
that I made, he has always replied me pretty promptly and
been very helpful.
The car is wonderful to drive. And
Nicol’s great services just provided that extra pleasant
experience.

I’m just writing to let you know of my
satisfaction with having purchased a new vehicle from your
organisation a month ago.
From the moment my wife and I walked into the
showroom, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. We
spoke with Nicol Matheson, who introduced himself immediately
and offered us a tea, coffee or soft
drink.
Nicol then proceeded to explain the different
models with pros and cons for each. Prior to entering the
showroom, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted but in a
question and answer session, it was clear that I was focussing
on the wrong aspects of a potential purchase. He offered a test
drive of various vehicles but I declined because at that point
I was unsure of what I wanted.
I decided that I would go home and think
about it and Nicol gave me some very comprehensive brochures to
read on the different models. Without undue pressure, he
telephoned me a few days later and asked if he could be of
further assistance. I then told him I was also looking at other
cars and he was not at all fazed, suggesting that if I wanted
to take any models for a test drive at any time, he would show
me comparisons.
A couple of days later I returned to the
showroom with a fair idea of what I wanted and I discussed
prices with Nicol. We settled on the model I wanted, a 280E and
Nicol sourced one for me at a very good price. In the meantime,
I had discovered a possible complication in that the new
vehicle is substantially than the Lexus 4-wheel drive which I
was trading in and therefore might not fit over the “hump” in
our driveway. At the eleventh hour and in the evening, Nicol
brought a vehicle to our home and we successfully tested the
vehicle.
Consequently I purchased the
vehicle and a few days later, took
delivery.
All though the process, Nicol was courteous
and helpful, not at any time losing patience with my lack of
clarity and certainty. Post sale, with a change of number
plates, Nicol continued this good service.
I guess from time to time you
might receive the odd complaint but in my more than forty years
in business, I have found people rarely take the time to give
praise.
On this occasion I would like to thank Nicol
for his service and attention to detail and to thank you for
what is clearly an example of good corporate
training.
