Your first point of contact with the Mercedes-Benz E63AMG is the AMG sports steering wheel with aluminium shift paddles or, if you would prefer you can access the AMG DRIVE UNIT with the E-SELECT lever, which places you in full control of the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed transmission. This revolutionary new gearbox has four modes, for any circumstance. With a double-declutching function, Race Start and the four modes being: economical driving, Sport, Sport+ and Manual, the AMG SPEEDSHIFT ‘box replaces the conventional torque converter with a new start-up clutch and you’ll find the accelerator pedal translates to effortless forwards motion without, crucially, any slip at all.

Deceleration is just as effective with newly-developed AMG high-performance brakes with 360mm solid discs on the rear wheels giving a fade-resistant braking sensation.
The AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, with the 3-stage damping system, is adjustable through the AMG DRIVE UNIT and incorporates a newly-developed front axle with a wider track. Soon you will be negotiating curves many lesser drivers would aspire to.

The level of assistance provided by the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) can also be personalised, now with three modes: ON, SPORT and OFF. So everything is under control.
